What is Moments?

Moments delivers delicious ready to dine-In meals for you and your loved ones. Shop once and sit back. Our professional chefs will take the strain and lovingly prepare everything you need for the next 3 days. We’ll then deliver it all straight to your door. Simply reheat and eat.

How do I start ordering?

Moments is delicious and nutritious eating made easy! Getting started is simple. Here's how:

  • Download the Moments app on your iOS or Android device.
  • Sign in through SMS or WhatsApp to get the OTP.
  • Choose your first delivery date by clicking ‘Order Now’ or ‘Plan Your Moments’. Multiple deliveries can be added during checkout.
  • Choose the number of meals you would like to receive. Choose from 4, 6, 8, and 12. You can always customize and order more on your cart -- the more your order, the better the savings!
  • Now for the fun part! You can add delicious snacks, sides, and drinks to your meal.
  • At check-out, enter your Email and Delivery Address to complete the info. You may also click ‘add second delivery’ for multiple orders.
  • Then add your Payment Method.
  • Once you're done, we'll send you an email confirmation and some handy tips on how to manage your account.
  • How does the delivery work?

    We follow the same model as most meal plan delivery services in the UAE. It's a drop-and-go concept, which means that you don't need to be present during delivery. Due to strict 2-hour delivery windows at each location, we are unable to accommodate special arrangements or shorter-time delivery requests.

    The bags will be delivered to your doorstep in the morning, ready for you to put in the fridge or take to work. When you select afternoon delivery, the bag will be waiting for you at your doorstep when you arrive back in the evening.

    Just let your building manager know ahead of time, and we're good to go to deliver your bag to your doorstep!

    What should I do with the empty chiller bag?

    So, you’ve received your first delivery, congrats!

    Ensure that you return the bag by leaving the empty bag where the fresh bag is usually dropped, or if you happen to be around during the delivery, hand it to our drivers.

    Each bag has an equivalent value, so the more bags you hoard, the more refundable deposit you will be charged on your next order. Of course, whenever you return your bags, we’ll convert your deposits into credits on your next order.

    How does Moments save me time?

    Let’s be honest, coming up with meal ideas every single day can be tough. Planning ahead for an entire week? What a nightmare. And when plans change, it’s a real shame to have to throw out overdue ingredients. You could do so much more with all that time and energy.

    That’s where Moments comes in. Just choose what you’d like to eat for the next three days, click to order, and let our chefs do the heavy lifting. All you need to do it eat.

    Is the food delicious?

    Are you kidding? It’s knock-your-socks-off delicious and nutritious. Professional chefs and nutritionists using recipes from around the world, gathering the healthiest and freshest ingredients, prepping and portioning everything so you don’t have to – and then cooking up a storm for you to just reheat and eat. Mmmm! It really doesn’t get much better!

  • What are the Moments' sustainability efforts?

    In our operations and in the products we deliver to our customers, we're committed to improving sustainability. Here are some details about what we do and what we're trying to accomplish:

  • We use 100% biodegradable packaging for all our meals, including containers, lids, sauce containers, and utensils.
  • We've invested so much in our delivery chiller bags to ensure that our brand is sustainable. All our chiller bags and icepacks are reusable and would last a minimum of 1 year before we recycle them.
  • We continually review and improve our supply chain operations. Our distribution packaging is constantly being improved, materials are used fewer times throughout the supply chain, and vans are used less to deliver goods.
  • We have full-time employees who plan our production so that there is as little waste as possible.
  • How can I contact support?

    You can reach our team through the built-in chat located at the bottom of the app. Live customer support is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm GST time, excluding UAE public holidays.

    What is the shelf life of the food?

    All food should be consumed within 3 days from delivery.

    All our awesome meals are prepped using super fresh ingredients in our modern HACCP-certified kitchen in Dubai, and should be consumed within the "Eat By Date” specified on the packaging.

    When will I get my food?

    We’ll deliver your meals 3 days after you place your order - between 4am and 10pm depending on where you live. When you get to the checkout, you can leave us a note to tell us anything special we need to know about delivering to you.

    It is important to note that we do not have a shorter delivery window and cannot do specific or special delivery time requests. Nevertheless, we guarantee that our chiller bags are sealed, safe and secure to be left outside your house for a longer time.

    How do I prepare my food?

    Our amazing nutritionists and chefs have done all the messy work of precisely measuring, prepping and cooking for you. All you need to do is pop your meals in the fridge when they arrive, and then reheat and eat them. In just moments, you’ll have a restaurant-ready meal at home!

    How to reheat the food?

    Reheating your meals correctly is crucial to getting the most out of them. Open the lids on the sides of the container to allow heat to penetrate; you don't need to remove them completely.

    You will find instructions on how to prepare your meals on each food label. Depending on the meals, standard meals can be heated for a minimum of 90 seconds, and for as long as needed to get to your ideal temperature.

    What is the food packaging made of?

    We use eco-friendly biodegradable packaging, including food containers and lids, sauce cups, and utensils.

    Can I pre-plan my meals for the whole month?

    Sure, no problem. If pre-planning is your thing, you can order for the entire month. With our easy-to-use app, you can select the date, location, and time for each of your deliveries. Select the ‘add more deliveries’ at the check-out page to set up multiple deliveries in advance.

    Can I receive lots of meals in one order?

    Again, yes! Whether you're entertaining friends or organizing a family event, you can order without restrictions! Choose how many meals you want delivered on the app, and you're done.

    Where can I leave feedback on my meals?

    We love hearing your feedback! In fact, we use your feedback in our meal development process to make sure our menus are always to your liking. Each meal container includes a QR code where you can leave feedback and/or connect to us directly.

    Each time you order, we’ll send an email asking you to rate your meals and experiences. The email will link you to your current order, where you can provide feedback on each meal and the overall experience. Alternatively, you can rate your meals on the 'Past Deliveries' page of the app.

    How can I pay for my meals?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay through our mobile app payments portal.

    To confirm a delivery, full payment is required 48 hours prior to the desired delivery date for a new order or reorder. Otherwise, the cart will be considered lapsed, and the original delivery date will be changed.

    Does Moments have a referral program?

    Of course, we do! Through our "Share the Moments" program, you can give discounts and receive credits by sharing your unique code.

    How does it work exactly? It’s easy. Make sure you are logged into your account. You can refer your friends by entering their mobile numbers in the Share the Moments tab, and an SMS notification with your promo code savings of AED50 will be sent to them. The best part? You'll also get an AED50 credit, which is equivalent to one meal! You will receive your credits once your friends purchase their Moments Plan.

    How does the code work? To get your unique referral codes, either click on 'Copy Link' or 'Send invites' via mobile number. There is no limit to how many referrals you can make and credits you can earn, they just need to be a first-time Moments customer - so get sharing!

    How does the pricing work?

    Moments pricing is based on volume, meaning the more you purchase, the more you save. A minimum of 4 items must be ordered per delivery, from any of the main menu categories of Breakfast, Mains, Pastas, and Kids. You’ll notice that as you place more orders, your price - and savings - are dynamically applied.

    How does the promo code work?

    We may offer promo codes in the form of campaigns, promotions, corporate partners, gift cards, refer-a-friend, and other types of vouchers that require activation at the App check-out for the holder of the voucher to commence delivery of Products through a Service.

    What is the Moments E-Wallet?

    Your Moments e-wallet can be used as a payment method during checkout. Any successful cancellations before the cutoff time will go into your e-wallet and can be used for the next order. You can also request your bag deposit refund to be deposited into your e-wallet as credit for a future purchase.

    What is the best way to update the information on my credit card?

    Login to the Moments app and go to ‘Account Settings’ to update your credit card information. To update your billing information, click ‘Payment’.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    We offer 0% cancellation fees for refund requests made through the mobile app no later than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date. The refund amount will be converted into credits and will reflect on your e-wallet in real-time.

    In the event of cancellation during the 48-hour lock-in period before delivery, a refund will not be provided, and your order will be forfeited.

    Can I request an actual refund instead of credit?

    You can request a credit reversal from your e-wallet to your original card upon approval from Moments Management. Successful reversal requests will be processed through the original payment method and original credit/debit card. Your original card must be active for the refund to be processed. Canceled or blocked cards cannot be processed.

    Please allow for a minimum of 7 working days for the credit reversal amount to appear on your card. Once processed by Moments, the timeframe entirely depends on the issuing bank of the credit/debit cards.

    Why is there a refundable deposit for the bag?

    We deliver all meals in triple layer-insulated chiller bags made to withstand the harsh summer conditions in the UAE, ensuring that the food is fresh when you receive it. The eco-friendly chiller bags will require a one-time deposit.

    Once all bags have been collected, the one-time deposit will be refunded to your Moments e-wallet upon collection of all bags.

    What happens if I did not get my delivery, or if I received damaged items?

    In the event of any non-conforming Products being delivered to you or in cases of non-delivery of an order, you may inform us by clicking on “support built-in chat” on the App or by sending a request through support@momentsapp.ae.

    You will receive a refund in the form of a credit to your e-wallet to be used for your future Order(s).

    Where do you deliver?

    We offer delivery services in most major cities in the UAE (except for Fujairah and some out-of-town areas in Ras al Khaimah, Al Ain, Ajman, and other locations near the UAE borders). Delivery will be made based on the agreed delivery date, location, timing, and delivery instructions.

    If anything crops up and we think we might be late, our driver will make sure to notify you.

    What time do you deliver?

    Deliveries are daily. Our morning slot is between 4 am and 9 am and our evening slot is between 4 pm and 10 pm. Delivery schedules depend on your specific location with 2-hour window timings assigned in each area.

    Due to the volume of our deliveries, we cannot accommodate special arrangements or shorter delivery times. The good news is you don't have to be present during delivery because our chiller bags keep your meals cool for longer periods of time.

    Do I need to be present to receive the delivery?

    You don’t need to be present at the time of delivery. In fact, most of our customers aren't home when we deliver their chiller bags. Our chiller van and chiller bags have been specially designed to keep your meals cool during transit and upon delivery of your meals.

    When confirming your order, you can provide us with instructions on where to leave your chiller bag (e.g., leave it in the reception, leave it in front of the door, etc.). Just pick a day and set your location, and our delivery driver will drop the bag at your doorstep or wherever you specify in your 'Delivery Instructions.

    What if I live in a gated complex or high-rise building?

    We deliver to large numbers of apartment buildings daily without any trouble. We just have a few tips to make sure your chiller bag gets to you safe and sound:

  • Speak with your building manager about the measures in place around deliveries for residents, especially for early in the morning or late-night drops.
  • Add delivery instructions to your Moments account by selecting "other" in special instructions (for example: 'Please buzz unit 123')
  • If you select an early morning delivery window, we will typically leave the chiller bag outside of your doorstep, and be aware that our drivers won’t buzz your apartment as they won't want to wake you up.
  • Do you provide tracking information?

    We don’t have this facility right now, but we will inform you as soon as we’ve launched this feature.

    Can I change my delivery info after checkout?

    Yes of course!

    Please note that the cut-off for placing an order or making changes to an existing order is 7:00 AM GST, 48 hours before the preferred delivery date (for example, a Monday delivery must be placed on the app before 7:00 am on the prior Saturday).

    The table below shows the cut-off timings for each day of the week, which are needed for:

    Within the 48-hour deadline, you are only able to change delivery locations or cancel your order without a refund 12 hours before it is scheduled to be delivered.

    Do you offer next-day delivery?

    We currently don't offer delivery to customers within a 12 to 24-hour period. With all of our meals being prepared cooked in-house, we need some time to prepare and deliver them fresh to you.

    We offer a variety of delivery days and times for you to choose from with 48-hour notice, which varies depending on your location.

    Can I stop my delivery after the 48-hour cut-off time?

    Yes, you can! However, this request will not qualify for a refund, as it will be considered a canceled order with a forfeited value.

    To avoid this, there is an option to change your delivery address on your account 12 hours prior to delivery.

    Can I plan my deliveries at once?

    Another big Yes.

    You can get multiple deliveries at once. We call this delivery stringing. Not only does it give you the convenience of paying once for several meals, but we’ll offer you a special price as a thank you for saving us some admin time on your order.

    How can I change my delivery information?

    Easy! Simply log into your account via the app, select “Upcoming Deliveries” on your home page, then tap the “Delivery Date' edit your delivery info e.g., date, time, and address, and save. We'll send you a notification letting you know the changes have been saved.

    All changes to your account must be made before your 48-hour cut-off time.

    My bag is late - what should I do?

    In the event that you experience an issue with your delivery, please reach out to our Customer Care team so that we can assist right away. You can chat with our team by tapping on the WhatsApp icon located at the bottom of the app. Live customer support is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm GST time, excluding UAE public holidays.

    Please include your name, order number (found in My Account Order History), and any specific information about your delivery issue that will help the team to provide a resolution as quickly as possible for you. We're here to help!

    What is Moments' approach to COVID?

    Our top priority has been ensuring the safety of our employees, their families, and our customers. According to leading health experts as well as the World Health Organization, food or food packaging does not appear to be associated with the transmission of COVID-19. Despite this, our entire staff receives the most up-to-date training to ensure that our packaging and food are always sanitized to the highest standard.

    Moreover, we have strict protocols regarding vaccination of all employees and identifying and dealing with those who test positive for COVID-19. Our staff and delivery teams perform heroic work every day to keep our customers' families fed, and we are doing everything we can to support them and ensure their safety.

    Are Moments meals nutritionally balanced?

    Every meal we prepare includes all the components of a nutritional meal for a perfectly balanced dish. Among these components are high-quality protein, carbohydrates, vegetables, and healthy fats. As a final step, our nutritionists approve the meals of Moments.

    Do you offer meals for special dietary needs?

    Since all our meals are produced in bulk in one kitchen, we do not take individual requests and can't ensure that traces of some ingredients will be excluded completely.

    You can search for suitable meals, snacks, and drinks by using our Moments menu app. Find items suitable for you. Please always read the label or refer to our app for the most up-to-date information about ingredients, allergens, and more.

    What if I have food allergies?

    We list all the ingredients in our products for our customers' reference. Every effort is made to reduce the risk of cross contamination; however, our products are made in a facility where other allergens are present (gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, milk, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulfites).

    Is the food halal?

    Yes, we’re 100% Halal!

    We set high standards with our internal processes and with our suppliers to ensure all our food is halal.

    Can I eat Moments Meals if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

    Moments meals are generally safe for pregnant or breastfeeding clients, however, we recommend that you speak with your General Practitioner or other medical professionals before deciding if Moments products are right for you.

    What’s in our Kids Menu?

    Introducing the concept of clean and healthy eating to a child can be a challenge. At Moments, we’re here to help.

    Our farm-to-table concept ensures that all our proteins and produce are family-friendly and certified fresh and nutritious. And each recipe on the kid's menu is a tasty, familiar and kid-friendly meal that they’ll enjoy eating!

    Are the Kids meals suitable for a school lunch box?

    Absolutely! Children from the age of two and above can enjoy the Kids Menu. Children's portions are approximately half the size of an adult's, which makes them perfect for school lunches.

    Just preheat the food, place it in an insulated lunch box, and it's ready to go! Meals are best (and safest) when eaten warm.

    What are the average calories in Moments meals?

    Meals range between 300Kcal - 700Kcal for adults, and 200Kcal - 400Kcal for Kids.
